The Center for Architectural Heritage is a brainchild of the school of architecture and interior design SRM institute of science and technology, Kattankulathur formulated in the year 2022. The center aims in educating and creating awareness amongst the students and the public on the importance of our long-lasting heritage and culture.

Architecture and heritage have an innate connection in which Indian history and heritage contribute a wide datum of knowledge to be shared and learned, creating a connection between the people and place, past and future. The center aims to understand and preserve the architectural history that never ends, from weighing in on important issues that affect our city’s liveability to exploring the history of built spaces and its associated heritage and culture through periodic events, tours, exhibits, and collections.
