Dean's Message

I am delighted to share some of the highlights of the Faculty of Science and Humanities (FSH) at SRMIST , Kattankulathur. Since its inception in 2003, FSH has blossomed into a vibrant bastion of erudition and scholarly pursuit, epitomizing an unwavering dedication to excellence and ingenuity.

With a formidable array of 24 departments, a flourishing student body of 6000 plus, a cadre of 200 devoted faculty members, and 180 esteemed research scholars, FSH stands as a monument to our collective quest for knowledge and scholarly rigor. Our interdisciplinary ethos promotes an ambiance where myriad perspectives converge, fostering not only intellectual growth but also the nurturing of environmental consciousness.

Central to our principles at FSH is the veneration of mutual respect, where we recognize and celebrate the intrinsic worth that each member of our community brings. This value infuses our interactions, engendering a culture of inclusivity and collaborative endeavor.

A primary tenet of our mission is to equip our students with the requisite skills to navigate the tumultuous seas of an ever-evolving world.
