SRMIST’s PANCHAVARNA: Championing Innovation at SAEISS Bicycle Design Challenge 2024

SRMIST’s team “PANCHAVARNA” has won the overall First Position Award among 45 teams at the SAEISS Bicycle Design Challenge 2024 held at the Knowledge Institute of Technology, Salem, on February 24th and 25th, 2024.

What is the SAEISS Bicycle Design Challenge 2024?

The Bicycle Design Competition 2024 was organized by the SAEINDIA Southern Section to create first-hand opportunities for students to Conceive Design, Implement, and Operate a Product from Scratch.

Who is PANCHAVARNA?
The term ‘Panchavarna’ literally translates to 5 colors namely Blue, Green, Yellow, White, and Black. Meanwhile, it also refers to the 5 elements including air, earth, water, fire, and sky. We are a dynamic team aiming to design and manufacture compact cycles as depicted in the pillars of the temple which is located in Tamilnadu.
