SRMIST Student Wins MITACS Globalink Research Internship

Harish Ramesh, a fourth-year student from the Department of Electronics and Instrumentation Engineering (EIE) at SRMIST , was selected for the prestigious MITACS Globalink Research Internship. He completed a 3-month research internship at Carleton University, Ottawa, Canada, on the project “Trust – enhanced IoT solutions for smart gardens”.

The MITACS Globalink Research Internship is an international program designed for students from all over the world who take part in an fully funded three month long research internship at a home university in Canada. The program is designed to help students gain international experience, develop their research skills, and build relationships with international researchers.

The MITACS Globalink Research Internship is a highly competitive program, and Harish’s selection is a testament to his academic achievements and research potential.
