The Directorate of Sports, SRM Institute of Science and Technology (SRMIST), Kattankulathur, proudly announces the victory of its Men’s Kabaddi Team at the South India Level Men’s Kabaddi Tournament – 2025, organised by AMC Kabaddi Club. The tournament was held on 5th and 6th July 2025 at Vaduvur, Thiruvarur District.

As the defending champions, the SRMIST Kabaddi team displayed consistent performance throughout the tournament. With strong coordination, quick strategies, and focused execution, the team emerged as champions after a series of well-contested matches.

Guided by Coach Mr. Muniyappan S., the team exhibited discipline, teamwork, and determination on the field. Their success at this regional-level competition stands as a testament to their commitment and preparation, as well as the structured training they undergo under the guidance of the Directorate of Sports.
