SRMIST has entered into a Memorandum of Understanding (MoU) with HCL Technologies

In a significant move towards fostering collaborative research, skill development, and industry-academia partnership, The MoU was signed to promote various facets of collaboration, including research and innovation, skill development, technology transfer, internships, and bridging the gap between academia and industry. The partnership is set to bring about a transformative impact on the future workforce and technological innovation landscape and to have a global impact, fostering sustainable practices and contributing to the broader technological ecosystem.

Head SDU, Associate Vice-President, HCL Technologies, Mr. Prasanna, said, “We aim to create a dynamic ecosystem that propels technological advancements and nurtures skilled professionals.”

Registrar of SRMIST, Dr. S. Ponnusamy said,” Through collaborative research and skill development initiatives, we aspire to empower our students and contribute significantly to the evolving technological landscape, ensuring they are well-prepared for the demands of the industry.”

The MoU was signed by Head SDU, Associate Vice-President, HCL Technologies, Mr. Prasanna, and SRMIST, Registrar, Dr. S. Ponnusamy. Representatives from HCL include HR Manager, Mr. Prabhakar K, and Imaging, CoE, Technology Director, Dr. Sai and from SRMIST are the Chairperson (School of Computing) Dr. Revathy Venkataraman, HoD (Computational Intelligence) Dr. Annie Uthra were present among others.
