SRMIST Athletes Shine at 23rd National Junior Federation Athletics Championship with Double Gold Win

SRM Institute of Science and Technology (SRMIST) continues to raise the bar in athletics as two of its exceptional young athletes bagged top honours at the prestigious 23rd National Junior (Under-20) Federation Athletics Championship, held from June 22 to 24, 2025, in Uttar Pradesh.

Ms. Sadhana Ravi, a first-year B.Sc. Psychology student from SRMIST’s Vadapalani campus showcased a remarkable leap of strength, focus, and technique by clinching the Gold Medal in Triple Jump with a stellar performance of 12.75 meters. Her achievement placed her at the top of the podium and also highlighted her as one of the most promising talents in the national junior circuit.

In an equally stunning feat, Mr. J. Gokul Pandian, a second-year B.Sc. Physical Education student (RA2431013010021), sprinted to victory in the 200-meter race, claiming the Gold Medal with electrifying speed and athletic finesse. Representing SRMIST with pride and determination, Mr. Gokul Pandian’s win adds to the institution’s growing legacy in track and field excellence.
