The athletes of SRM Institute of Science and Technology (SRMIST) once again proved their sporting prowess at the 97th Senior State Athletic Meet held in Salem on 20th July 2025.
Mr. Premnath Subramani, B.Com. (3rd Year), delivered a strong performance on the track by winning the SILVER Medal in the 800-metre event, showcasing endurance, discipline, and determination. Adding to SRMIST’s medal tally, Mr. Balaji, Diploma in Yoga, displayed remarkable strength and technique to secure the SILVER Medal in Shot Put.
Their success stands as a reflection of SRMIST’s commitment to promoting sports and nurturing young talent who aspire to shine in the sports field. The Directorate of Sports at SRM Institute of Science and Technology has been instrumental in guiding athletes, providing structured training, mentorship, and consistent encouragement, enabling them to excel at prestigious state-level competitions.
