The Faculty of Management at SRM Institute of Science and Technology, Kattankulathur, celebrated the formal inauguration of its BBA and MBA programs for the academic year 2025–26, marking the beginning of a new chapter for its incoming students. The event held on 11th August 2025, highlighted the institution’s commitment to academic excellence and preparing future leaders for a dynamic business world.
Prof. Shivganesh Bharghav, Dean of the Faculty of Management, welcomed the freshers and dignitaries, emphasizing the programs’ relevance and their thoughtful design to meet industry demands. He highlighted the faculty’s strong curriculum, advanced resources, and a team of experienced and dedicated faculty members.
Prof. A. Vinay Kumar, Pro Vice Chancellor (SBL), underscored the importance of a holistic, skill-based, and value-driven education. He described the programs as a comprehensive blend of academic expertise and real-world application, designed to transform students into competent professionals ready to face global challenges.
Prof. C. Muthamizhchelvan, Vice Chancellor of SRM IST, encouraged students to think beyond conventional boundaries and embrace a student-centric and learning-centric educational paradigm. He stressed the importance of collaboration, networking, and lifelong learning as key drivers for personal and professional growth.
The inauguration was graced by Shri. Jay Chandan, Chairman and CEO of Gorilla Technology Group, London, as the Chief Guest. In his keynote address on “Technology-Driven Education,” he inspired students to make the most of every opportunity, stating that the programs would not only enhance their skills but also broaden their professional outlook, shaping them into resilient and adaptable business leaders.
The Guest of Honour, Mr. Dhinesh Khanna Ramalingam, Global Head Customer Success at Zoho Corporation, highlighted the pivotal role of business education in shaping future leaders. He encouraged students to embrace innovation, ethical practices, and global thinking to succeed in a rapidly changing economic landscape.
The event also saw the presence of distinguished corporate delegates from Gorilla Technology Group, including Mr. Bala Vummidi, Mr. Satish Venkatesan, Mr. Venkatesh Kannappan, and Mr. Balaji Alapilla Sampath.
