Selective Excellence Research Initiative

Applications are invited from faculty members of Engineering & Technology, Management & Agricultural Sciences either individually or in groups for research proposals under the Selective Excellence Research Initiative (SERI) of the SRM Institute of Science and Technology for 2025-2026.

Applications must be written in a simple and easy-to-understand manner without using jargon. Successful proposals may be funded up to a maximum of Rs.5 lakhs for two years. The proposal will be evaluated by a committee chaired by the Dean of Research.

Priority will be given only to interdisciplinary and multidisciplinary research areas in collaboration with faculty members from other departments and schools.

The last date for applications is on or before 21st September 2025
