SRM Green Club

Join the SRM Green Club, a student-led group passionate about protecting our planet! We’re on a mission to make SRM a greener place and raise awareness about environmental issues.

Palm trees stand as a symbol of resilience, abundance, and tropical allure:  Palm tree plantation program in three different locations. SRMIST students supported by staff sowed 5,000 palm seeds in Kadampur lakes near Kalivandapattu village, Chengalpattu district. The event was inaugurated by Dr. V. Thirumurugan Associate Director (Campus Life) in the presence of Dr. Ponniah V.M Dean (School of Management). Mr. Ramesh Kannan participated on behalf of the New Generation Foundation.10,000 palm seeds on the banks of Siruvanjoor lake and Nattarasanpattu lake in the Kancheepuram District.  The event was inaugurated by Dr. S. Ponnusamy Registrar, SRMIST.
