M.Tech. Nanotechnology

The course provides fundamental and advanced knowledge in Nanoscience and Nanotechnology and an understanding of the concepts of nanomaterials synthesis and characterization and applications in diverse fields of engineering and technology. It also imparts to students a professional, ethical and multidisciplinary approach to work in different areas of nanotechnology. This two-year M. tech program imparts several courses in Material Science, Thermodynamics, Quantum Physics, Nanochemistry, Nanophotonics, Nanobiology, Molecular and Nanoelectronics and Industrial Trends in Nanotechnology. The curriculum is designed to provide rigorous training with the help of advance laboratories on Micro/nano Fabrication, Nanoscale imaging and analysis, Nanoelectronics Simulations to enable the students equipped with both the theoretical and experimental aspects.

Eligibility for M.Tech Programme

Eligibility for M.Tech Programs (Duration: 2 Years)
Specialization Eligibility (A basic degree or equivalent in the following with a minimum aggregate of 50%)
Nanotechnology B.E / B.Tech. (Any Specialization),  M.Sc (Physics / Materials  Science / Chemistry / Applied Chemistry / Bio Chemistry / Biotechnology) with mathematics as one of the subjects at B.Sc level (or) its equivalent.
