M.Tech - Mechatronics Engineering

The MTech Mechatronics engineering program was started in the year 2018. The MTech program admits candidates graduated with B.E./B.Tech/ Equivalent degrees in a wide range of disciplines which may be broadly classified as Mechanical stream (e.g. B.E. Mechanical, B.Tech Aerospace, etc) and Non-Mechanical stream (B.E. Electrical and Electronics Engineering, B.Tech Software Engineering). In order to bring the students under one perspective, a bridge course is offered to make the students understand the basics of mechanics, electrical and electronics systems). The department adopts an internship model for students who in the third semester of the program are recommended for core companies for a possible internship in their place. Upon successful completion and required merit, the companies may hire the students for regular positions. This model is very successful in a win-win situation.

Mechatronics Engineering B.E / B.Tech in Mechanical Engineering, Production Engineering, Manufacturing Engineering, Automobile Engineering,Aerospace Engineering, Mechatronics Engineering,Electrical and Electronics Engineering, Electronics & Communication Engineering, Instrumentation and Control Engineering, Electronics & Instrumentation Engineering, Electronics & Instrumentation Engineering,Computer Science Engineering, Information Technology, Software Engineering (or) its equivalent.
