About the Department
Eligibility for M.Pharm
1. Candidate shall have passed a Bachelor’s degree in Pharmacy from a PCI approved institution.
2. Minimum of 50% aggregate of marks in Bachelor’s Degree.
3. Students should submit Pharmacist Registration Certificate obtained from the respective state pharmacy council at the time admission.
4. Age: Minimum age limit is 21 years on or before 31st December of year of Admission.

Domain Knowledge: Learn about preformulation, various pharmaceutical dosage forms, industry organization, optimization strategies, computational techniques, Quality-by-Design approach, cGMP, Intellectual Property Rights, pilot plant scale up, Regulation of pharmaceuticals, cosmeceuticals, Modern manufacturing processes, biopharmaceutics, and pharmacokinetics.
Technical skill development: Through sophisticated methodologies, design and manufacture optimal dosage forms to improve therapeutic bioavailability, targeting and stability. Apply current analytical methods, instruments, technologies, and processes in industry, such as QbD, nanotechnology, polymer sciences, solubilization and lyophilization.
Entrepreneurship: Build and enhance a comprehensive strategy for business ideas and entrepreneurship in the pharmaceutical industry.
Professional ethics: Gain an awareness of ethical standards and a philosophy of justice and fairness.
Lifelong learning: Establish an attitude that encourages self-driven specific goals, entrepreneurship initiatives, and holistic management by lifelong learning.
Planning and leadership ability: Develop the skills and confidence to work effectively as an individual, team member, or team leader in multifunctional organizations.
