About the Program
SRM-DBT Partnership Platform for Contemporary Research Services and Skill Development
in Advanced Life Sciences Technologies” is a core facility developed to foster state-of-the-art
Life Science Research and promote skill development.
SRM-DBT Platform is inviting applications from eligible candidates for Advanced PG
Diploma in Life Science Technologies, a one-year Program. The program is designed to
empower the students with techniques used in industries and advanced research laboratories
aimed to produce highly skilled professionals to handle advanced laboratory equipment such
as Next Generation Sequencing (NGS), Mass Spectrometer, Digital PCR, Micro-Array,
Fluorescence Microscope, to name a few.
Advanced PG Diploma in Life Science Technologies comes with a fellowship of Rs. 15,000/-
per month for the study period of one year. This course will be an added qualification for
students to secure employment in biotech industries and leading biotechnology research
centers.

- M.Sc. or M.Tech. Life Sciences/ M. Pharm.
- Candidates pursuing the final year of the above-mentioned PG programs are also eligible.
Application Procedure
Send a filled soft copy of the application form to srmdbt.ktr@srmist.edu.in and a hard copy to The Dean, School of Bioengineering, SRM Institute of Science and Technology, Kattankulathur, Chengalpattu District, Tamil Nadu – 603203. Candidates should send their
CV along with the filled-in application. The envelope should contain the title “Application for Advanced PG Diploma: SRM-DBT Platform”
Shortlisted candidates will be called for written examination and those selected based on their performance in written examination will have to appear for oral examination.
Mode of Examination: Offline
Selected Candidates will be intimated by email.
Date of Commencement of the Program: First week of August.
