Structural Testing Laboratory
Structural Testing laboratory can be used for large scale testing, provided with the casting yard and facilities for fabrication of specimens. It has a structural testing strong floor with biaxial loading frame capacity of 1000 kN and self-straining loading frame for beam and slab testing of 400 kN. A-type loading frame is available for testing three-dimensional structures with lateral loading. In addition, there are heritage structures characterization/simulation and advanced materials and building energy lab. Structural Testing laboratory contributes to social and industrial development of the country by engaging various challenging projects.
