Strength of Materials Laboratory

Strength of material laboratory provides the basic knowledge of strength of materials and the students can perform different tests on variety of materials. Experiments are performed to measure the properties of materials such as impact strength, tensile strength, compressive strength, hardness, etc. The laboratory is equipped with Servo Controlled Universal Testing Machine, Servo Controlled Compression Testing Machine, Digital Hardness Testing Machine, Digital Rebound Hammer etc., The Strength of material laboratory is effectively utilized by the undergraduate students in learning the principles and procedure involved in the various material testing conforming to the standards.
