SENSORS AND ACTUATORS LABORATORY

Sensors and Actuators Laboratory

The Sensors and Actuators Laboratory is an academic facility designed to support the practical learning and research needs of students in the field of sensor technology and actuation systems. This laboratory focuses on giving hands-on experience with various sensor types and its calibration, data acquisition techniques, and actuator mechanisms and helping students understand its working principles and applications. Additionally, the laboratory facilitates project-based learning and research, encouraging students to apply theoretical knowledge to real-world challenges. The objective of this lab are as follows:

  • To impart practical knowledge and hands on training in sensor and its data acquisition
  • Enable students to design circuits for signal conditioning and facilitate them to learn the fundamental working principles of various sensors
  • Enable students to understand the working principles of various actuators
