About the Lab
The Process Control Laboratory is utilized by B.Tech. Chemical Engineering students to perform the experiments come under 18CHC309L Chemical Engineering Lab III and the lab component of 21CHC305J Process Dynamics, Control and Instrumentation, a joint course. The Process Control concepts learned in the theory course will be practiced here by evaluating the performance of various types of controllers viz., ON-OFF, P, PI, PD, PID in the control of temperature, pressure and level and also to understand the characteristics of various control valves.
