Neuro Rehabilitation Lab
The Neuro Rehabilitation Lab is designed to address the complex needs of patients with neurological disorders. Equipped with advanced EMG biofeedback systems, balance assessment tools, and robotic therapy devices, this lab enables postgraduate students to gain expertise in neurorehabilitation techniques.
In the Neuro Rehabilitation Lab, postgraduate students learn to use EMG biofeedback to facilitate motor control and muscle re-education in patients with neurological deficits. They also assess balance and gait impairments using sophisticated balance assessment tools, providing a comprehensive understanding of the underlying neurological dysfunction.
Students work closely with patients with conditions such as stroke, spinal cord injuries, and traumatic brain injuries to develop individualized treatment plans focused on improving functional independence and quality of life. The lab emphasizes the importance of task-specific training, neuroplasticity, and evidence-based interventions in neurorehabilitation.
