Hand Rehabilitation Lab

The Hand Rehabilitation Lab is designed to address the unique needs of patients with hand and upper extremity conditions. Equipped with tools for hand therapy, including splints, hand dynamometers, and dexterity assessment devices, this lab enables postgraduate students to gain expertise in hand rehabilitation.

In the Hand Rehabilitation Lab, students assess hand function and design customized splints to support injured hands during the healing process. They work with patients with conditions such as fractures, tendon injuries, and repetitive strain injuries to improve hand mobility and strength.

Postgraduate students engage in activities that promote functional independence in patients with hand impairments, focusing on activities of daily living and work-related tasks. The lab emphasizes the significance of patient education and empowerment in managing hand and upper extremity conditions effectively.
