Biomechanics Lab
The Biomechanics Lab focuses on the study of human movement and musculoskeletal function. Equipped with cutting-edge tools like gait analysis systems, force plates, and motion capture systems, this lab enables postgraduate students to analyze and interpret movement patterns and biomechanical abnormalities.
In the Biomechanics Lab, students conduct gait analysis to identify deviations in walking patterns and evaluate the impact of interventions such as orthotics and assistive devices. They also use force plates to measure ground reaction forces during different activities, providing valuable insights into the biomechanics of movement and injury prevention.
Postgraduate students engage in research projects and case studies in the Biomechanics Lab to enhance their understanding of how biomechanical principles apply to various musculoskeletal conditions. This lab fosters critical thinking and problem-solving skills in designing effective treatment plans for patients with movement impairments.
