On November 16, 2024, SRMIST’s NSS and Faculty of Management organized an outreach program titled “Greening the Future-Closing ceremony programme: 4 lakhs Palm seeds Plantation Drive” at Pazhaya Seevaram and Thirumukkoodal in Chengalpattu. In collaboration with Vidhaigal Trust.

The event was led by Dr. T. Lakshmanan, NSS Programme Advisor, and Dr. K. Maheswari, NSS Programme Officer from the Faculty of Management. A group of 45 students from the Faculty of Management Planted in 5 thousand palm seeds.

 The grounds of the Thirumukkudal temple dedicated to Lord Venkateshwara were cleaned.
