The SRM-DBT Platform for Advanced Life Science Technologies is offering a Summer Training Program in Molecular Biology Techniques from June 9 to June 20, 2025. This two-week hands-on training is designed to equip students with essential laboratory skills in molecular biology and genetics. The program focuses on practical experience in DNA/RNA extraction, gene expression analysis, microbial identification, and mutation analysis.
Key modules include Real-time PCR (RNA isolation, cDNA synthesis, gene expression studies), Sanger Sequencing (DNA isolation, colony PCR, mutation analysis), and MALDI-TOF (microbial identification). Participants will also gain experience in data analysis and troubleshooting of experiments.
The training will be held at the SRM-DBT Platform, Sir C. V. Raman Research Park, SRMIST, Kattankulathur, Tamil Nadu. The registration fee is ₹10,000, and seats are limited.
