- Introduction:
The Postgraduate Wellness Workshop was organized on 20th June 2025 at SRM Institute of Science and Technology, which was an effort to enhance the mental, emotional, and social well-being of postgraduate students. The workshop was planned in a structured approach by the Department of Psychiatry and the University Wellness Program. The program has been one of the most interesting, St John’s Medical College, Bangalore provided offer a welcoming forum for postgraduate students to be critical of their problems without personal combat with their issues and assist them to listen to other students with similar issues and assist them (postgraduates) to develop beneficial adaptive strategies in coping against their stressors.

58 people attended the workshop in total, 44 of whom were postgraduate medical students from various specialties, and 14 were medical staff who joined group activities and discussions. The diversity of individuals represented at the workshop significantly added value to the debate, enabling peer-to-peer learning and inter-professional insight.
- Workshop Program and Highlights
The workshop utilized formal sessions that addressed serious issues of mental health, work-life balance, peer support, death and coping with duty, and conflict resolution.

The participants shared their greater awareness of psychological issues in medical school. Peer support, emotional control, feedback, and managing criticism were indicated by the facilitators as priorities. The group discussions enable open sharing and mutual support. Both the students and faculty members implemented strategies collaboratively. The Postgraduate Wellness workshop is a key step towards SRMIST’s student well-being programs. It was constructed to enhance reflection, resilience, and community for postgraduate medical students and the learning environment.
