The NSS Unit of SRM College of Pharmacy, SRM Institute of Science and Technology (SRMIST) organized an Anti-Drug Pledge Taking Event on 14th August 2025, as per the instructions and suggestions given by the Nasha Mukt Bharat Abhiyaan (NMBA) and the Government of Tamil Nadu.
The pledge was administered by Prof. V. Chitra, Dean, SRM College of Pharmacy, SRMIST. Students from various programs including B.Pharm., Pharm.D., and M.Pharm. participated in the event. Around 500 students took the pledge against drug abuse, affirming their commitment to follow the instructions mentioned in the pledge as well as the guidelines provided by the Prof. V. Chitra, Dean, SRM College of Pharmacy.
The NSS team members and the Anti-Drug Committee members of the college coordinated and made all necessary arrangements for the successful conduct of the event. The program concluded with a vote of thanks.
