Alumni Talk

An Alumni Talk was organized by SRM College of Nursing on 3rd July 2025 from 2:00 PM to 3:00 PM. The session witnessed the active participation of 100 attendees, including B.Sc (N) III and IV Year students and faculty members of SRM College of Nursing.

The program commenced with an invocation, followed by a warm welcome address delivered by Mrs. V. Priya, Alumni Coordinator and Assistant Professor, SRM College of Nursing. Ms. Shiny Sebi, B.Sc Nursing (Batch of 2007), currently serving as Senior Staff Nurse in the Critical Care Unit, Ireland, and an esteemed alumna of SRM College of Nursing, delivered an engaging and insightful talk on the topic “Health Care Delivery System in Ireland: The Extended and Expanded Role of Nurses in Ireland.”

She shared her professional journey and rich experiences in the Irish healthcare system, emphasizing the critical roles and responsibilities of nurses. Her presentation included practical insights into international job opportunities, especially for nurses aiming to work abroad, with a focus on Ireland.

The session was highly informative, focused, and greatly beneficial for the aspiring nursing professionals in attendance.

Feedback for the session was given by Prof. Dr. Kalavalli, HOD, Department of Mental health Nursing and the vote of thanks was presented by Mrs. Kanmani K., Assistant Professor, SRM College of Nursing. The program concluded successfully at 3:00 PM.
