NextSeq 500

NextSeq 500 works on Illumina’s proven Sequencing by synthesis (SBS) technology which enables rapid sequencing of whole genomes, exomes, targeted panels, and transcriptomes in a single run. With SBS v2 chemistry, the NextSeq Series provides exceptional accuracy at any coverage level. The NextSeq 500 instrument is capable of generating read lengths as follows: single-end 75 bp, single-end 150 bp, paired-end 2 x 75 bp, and paired-end 2 x 150 bp.

The QuantStudio® 3D Digital PCR System produces absolute quantification data with precision and sensitivity. Its applications include rare mutation detection, pathogen detection, viral load quantification, genetically modified organism detection etc. The QuantStudio™ 5 Real-Time PCR System features VeriFlex™      technology which offers 6 independent temperature zones for PCR optimization. Inbuilt OptiFlex technology provides enhanced fluorescence detection enabling accurate and sensitive data analysis with multiplexing capacity of up to 6 targets.

Microarray

The Agilent Microarray Scanner is a laser induced fluorescence scanner 

Microarray

The Agilent Microarray Scanner is a laser induced fluorescence scanner designed to read microarrays printed on a standard 1 inch x 3 inch glass slides. The SureScan scanner measures the  fluorescence intensity of 

labeled sample nucleic acid (DNA and RNA) bound to microarrays. Its ability to measure fluorescence from two dyes simultaneously facilitates all two-color microarray studies. The dyes compatible with the system are Cyanine 3 and Cyanine 5, and Alexa 647, 555, and 660.

Bioplex 200

Bioplex 200 is a multiplex ELISA system based on Luminex’s xMAP technology. By combining advanced fluidics, optics, and digital signal processing with proprietary microsphere (“bead”) technology, xMAP Technology enables a high degree of multiplexing within a single sample volume. The system has capacity to detect upto 100 different analytes from a single sample in a single reaction well.

Leica DM6 Fluorescent Microscope with Cryostat

Leica DM6 Fluorescent Microscope with Cryostat

The Leica DM6 is an upright digital research microscope with 19 mm sCMOS camera imaging port that can easily capture quality images. Automated Koehler light management ensures that images are publication ready. The Fluorescence Intensity Manager (FIM) provides fast and reproducible regulation of the excitation light to effectively protect the specimen from photo bleaching.
