Section of Agriculture Engineering
About the Department
The Section of Agricultural Engineering was formed with the primary focuses on providing Agricultural Engineering courses for the Agriculture and horticulture Departments and different aspects of the Agriculture and Farming sectors. The section of Agricultural Engineering is offering exposures in the sectors of farm machinery and power, Soil and water conservation Engineering and Bioenergy Engineering and Food process Engineering to the students. The section of the department provides excellent academic environment with a team of highly qualified faculty members to strengthen the students to develop their technical skills.
Vision
To develop the Agricultural Engineering professionals, to integrate the knowledge through the application of Agricultural Engineering fundamentals and design systems to meet the societal needs with respect to Irrigation, Soil and water conservations, Farm Mechanization Renewable Energy Resources and Agricultural Processing.
Mission
To provide education to the students in Soil and Water Management, Farm Power , Agricultural Processing and Renewable Energy resources
To promote research in Soil and Water Conservation, Farm Power, Agricultural Processing and Renewable Energy Resources to impart new ideas for application in the society
