Department of Floriculture and Landscaping Architecture
About The Department
The Department of Floriculture & Landscape Architecture started functioning from June 2022. Our department focuses on imparting quality teaching, research and extension activities on flower crops, landscaping, medicinal, and aromatic crops. We have competent faculty with experience in the current areas of floriculture and landscape Architecture. Also department provides laboratory and field facility of flowers crops and ornamental nursery where students can be given practical exposure to the Floriculture & Landscape Architecture technologies thereby develop skill and gaining knowledge through experiential learning. The department also involved in different extension activities such as organizing workshops, seminars, training programmes and delivering lectures for the farmers, scientists and students. The department is also concentrating on the overall landscaping and documentation of floral diversity of the Institute.
