The Department of Computer Science along with the Placement and Career Center of SRM IST works dedicatedly to ensure that eligible students of the department are provided with the right opportunities in the IT Industry to showcase their skills and talent. The department also has a faculty member who serves as the placement coordinator. The primary job of the placement coordinator includes acting as a point of contact between the Placement and Career center and the students of the department and also mentoring the students and providing them with guidance in choosing the right career path.
