Activity Room:

Our college also consists of an activity room. Before handling the patients our BOT first-year students learn activity analysis which is a skill-developing subject. Activities are the main mode of treatment in occupational therapy. Activity Analysis is a fundamental skill of occupational therapists. A process used to identify the inherent properties in a given Occupation, Task, or Activity as well as skills, abilities, or capacities required to complete it.  Our interventions are based on a top-down approach where we assess the activity of our patient’s ability to complete an activity. From this point, we break down the various components, such as areas of occupation (ADLs, IADLs), client factors, activity demands, performance skills, performance patterns, and contexts/ environments.  Once the patient’s weaknesses and strengths have been addressed and identified, it is anticipated that overall independence and quality of life will improve.

Seminar Hall:

The college seminar hall is well equipped with advanced technology, a modern sound system, and a podium to facilitate presentations, lectures, and discussions to enhance better learning outcomes for students.

Demonstration Room:

The demonstration room is an essential component of the medical learning system. These rooms are meant for the practical exhibition of theoretical concepts. The extensive sets provoke the interchange of ideas with the Aid of Flip Charts, Flex Boards, Posters, PowerPoint Presentations, and Practical Equipment. When students have a hard time connecting theories to actual practice, the demo rooms offer opportunities for more individualized help, assessment, and general bonding. The OT evaluation components such as ROM, MMT, Sensory Evaluation, Reflex test, Cranial Nerve examination, etc. are showcased to the students to enhance their thinking and metacognitive abilities.
