The Department of Computing Technologies, School of Computing, SRMIST–KTR organised “Art from Waste” – E-Waste into Art: Circuit to Canvas Mural Challenge, an initiative that celebrates the transformative power of creativity by turning discarded electronic components into visually compelling wall murals. The showcase underscores SRMIST’s commitment to sustainability, circular design, and hands-on learning.
Visitors explored eight stunning murals, each crafted entirely from electronic and electrical waste by student teams. From repurposed circuit boards and cables to resistors and processors, the installations demonstrated how responsible reuse can spark imagination, reduce landfill burden, and inspire eco-conscious design thinking on campus.
