Ombudsperson

Prof. V. M. Ponniah is deeply passionate about continuous learning, teaching, and entrepreneurship, particularly in the MSME sector and management consulting. Since 2023, he has been serving as the Ombudsperson at SRMIST, Kattankulathur, Chennai.

On February 5, 2024, he participated in a virtual meeting convened by the Honourable Chairman of the University Grants Commission, New Delhi, representing SRMIST alongside Ombudspersons from various universities across India.

An accomplished author, Prof. Ponniah has published three books aimed at management students, entrepreneurs, and business executives: *Why Do Few MSMEs Fail to Achieve Deserving Growth?* (E-Book, Amazon Kindle Direct Publishing, July 2023), *Essentials of Management* (2016), and *Receivables Management and Entrepreneurship* (2013).
