Computer Programming Lab

The Computer Programming Laboratory in Department of Mechanical Engineering at SRM Institute of Science and Technology is located at first floor of the Mechanical Hanger. Computer Programming lab consists of 72 Desktop terminals of latest Intel Pentium Core i5 and i7 processors of 64 bit architecture that supports advanced CAD software packages like AutoCAD, and SOLIDWORKS which was extensively used for UG and PG students. Besides this Matlab also used by students, research scholars and faculty members along with 2D and 3D modeling software’s for project and research work. This lab is dedicatedly utilized for creating 2D and 3D models for Assembly drawings. This lab has separate demo section with projector facility to teach students before their hands-on experience. An individual computer with latest version software’s is provided to every student during the lab classes. The experienced and trained lab in-charges and CAD engineers available in the lab to guide the students for their projects.
