SRM Institute of Science and Technology (SRMIST) is proud to celebrate yet another outstanding sporting achievement as our badminton team clinched the Bronze Medal at the Tamil Nadu Senior Inter-District Badminton Championship, held in Karur on 30th June and 1st July 2025.
This prestigious state-level tournament brought together some of the finest badminton talent from across Tamil Nadu. Competing against experienced and highly skilled players, the SRMIST team demonstrated remarkable skill, teamwork, and perseverance throughout the championship.
The bronze-winning squad included:

- Mr. Mukesh D (RA2452001040015), 2nd Year, MBA (Business Analytics)
- Mr. Santhosh G (RA2452201201001), 2nd Year, MBA
These talented athletes showcased exceptional gameplay under pressure, combining agility, strategy, and strong coordination to overcome tough opponents and secure a podium finish. Their journey through the rounds was marked by nail-biting rallies, intelligent court coverage, and an unwavering competitive spirit—qualities that exemplify SRMIST’s commitment to holistic student development.
The players credited their success to consistent training, strong mentorship from coaches, and unwavering support from the university’s Department of Physical Education. Their performance stands as a testament to SRMIST’s emphasis on promoting sports excellence alongside academic achievement.
